What Community Means to Us

After what felt like a long winter, spring is finally here and we’re excited for warmer weather, spending more time outdoors, and enjoying that beautiful sense of renewal.

It’s the perfect time to reconnect with friends, talk with neighbors, join a new meet-up, and create a sense of community.

Community is such an important part of our overall mental health and satisfaction in life.

Here at Few made, we really want to help embrace a sense of interconnectedness, as we’re all on this journey through life together.

We are keenly aware that you, our VIP clients, are so much than just the jewelry you wear.

Jewelry may be an accessory you use to express yourself, your style, your tastes, and your interests, but we know there are many complexities to you, your life, and your relationships.

That’s why we want to make everything we do have a deeper meaning and a more authentic way of connecting with one another. 

Crafting jewelry is an art and a passion of mine, but aside from the raw materials I love working with, each final piece tells a story.

The jewelry is always named after a place I love, a moment or memory I shared with family or friends, or some other idea that’s inspired my own journey.

The hope is that it then resonates with you and comes to represent a memory or experience of your own.

Because in life, we sometimes we hit painful bumps that may cause us to slow or feel discouraged. And other times, we get to soar. On the bumps in the road, we learn. We grow. We get stronger and see them as lessons, not life sentences.

At Few Made, we understand that on a deeply personal level.

This company was founded after I went way out of my comfort zone. It was when I realized that if I didn’t do the bungee jump in New Zealand with my sisters, I would miss out on an incredible bonding experience with them. I (not so) bravely ended up doing it, and have never looked back.

The realization I had after that jump profoundly changed me and how I live my life.

That’s why I believe in following your dreams – because you never know what’s on the other side of your fear.

You don’t have to bungee jump to realize it, of course. Whatever your moment of realization was or will be, I hope you find the courage to wholeheartedly pursue the desires of your heart.

I’m thankful for our Few Made customers and VIPs that support this company by shopping, and allow me to live out my dream.

Ultimately, I think that’s what true success is – doing what you’ve always dreamt of doing, in spite of the doubt, fear, and paralysis of comparison that tries to hold you back.

Let me ask you something:

        Do you have dreams that you are too scared to try and make come true?

        Is fear holding you back?

        Do you feel like you aren’t in a place where you want to be in life?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we have all felt that way at times. We’re all human, and it’s natural to feel that way.

But I also want to ask you…

       When was the last time you left your comfort zone?

       Did you fail or fly?

I’m willing to bet you soared. This is why community can make such an impact on our growth. Being with others we can trust helps us to get outside of our heads, believe in ourselves, and be encouraged.

Because even if you fail, you will know that you have a community of people who believe in you to fall back on.

We hope Few Made can be that kind of community for you.

The older and more experienced you get, the less fearful you become and most importantly, it’s NEVER too late! Did you know that Julia Child got her first cooking show at 51? Vera Wang designed her first dress at age 40.

We don’t all need to be famous to be successful; the point is that it’s possible to change directions at any age and to follow your passions. Fulfillment, joy, a strong sense of self…this all comes from doing what we love.
